Marissa serves as the acting manager of the SPARC Center at the University of Haifa. SPARC is an academic community center that connects individuals with special needs, their families, and professionals to promote inclusion and meaningful participation through research, training programs, and community initiatives.

Alongside her academic work, Marissa runs a private clinic in Alonei Abba where she works primarily with young children with autism through individual and small-group therapy. Her clinical work focuses on communication, play, and social interaction through developmental, relational, and evidence-based approaches.
